It’s been another busy year here at Classic Laminations as we continued our mission to build on the most comprehensive offering of print finishing services in Northeast Ohio.
This year we added a Kingsun ML2000 Die Cutter. We call it “The Beast” because we can die cut sheets up to 54” x 78” in size which is great for impressive Point of Purchase or Trade Show displays. “The Beast” is a great complement to our already strong die cutting program.
We also added a Horizon 4 Clamp Perfect Binder BQ-470. The PUR (polyurethane reactive) adhesive, which is recyclable, offers superior binding strength and spine flexibility which enables the pages to lay flatter when the book is open. We now have three perfect binding machines to meet the growing demand for this service.
We acquired Abbot Bindery, a long-standing print finishing company for the Cleveland graphic arts community. This acquisition allowed us to build our customer base and equipment list. In addition, it allowed us to provide legacy services such as Calendar Tinning, a great way to make durable, professional hanging wall calendars and posters.
